The playground build day at Chula Vista
on Thursday, June 12, 2008 is finished and was a huge success! Many thanks to Kaboom!'s Matt Kaftor, Home Depot,
(major funder for the project) the many Home Depot employees, and the numerous local volunteers for the
amazing opportunity to make this happen. This playground will truly be a safe place to play within walking
distance for all Wilder children, for many years to come! Be sure to come by and see what it's all about.
It's next to the Wendell Batt Center to the south.

The Wilder Housing Authority serves
the City of Wilder and surrounding community, with a mission of providing affordable rental housing.
The Housing Authority is regulated through United States Department of Agriculture. Chula Vista Acres is
a 120-unit project, which provides housing for qualified families, with an emphasis
on the agricultural work force in the area. Westfield Plaza is a 24-unit project,
that provides housing for qualifying Senior Citizens.
